Clean with care
Choose gentle to the skin cleansers such as Ivory soap. Ivory has the additional advantage of being non-moisturizing, so it will not interfere with our skin-friendly, secure adhesive. Use lukewarm water and a soft cloth to thoroughly cleanse the area each time you reapply the catheter or other product. Avoid vigorous rubbing and take care to wash hands before and after each application.
Dry completely
Damp or moist skin is more vulnerable to rashes and irritation. Take a few extra seconds to be sure the area is completely dry before proceeding. If you are using adult diapers or incontinence pads, change frequently.
Stay hydrated
